Understanding Your Grades
As a student at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), calculating your Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is essential for tracking your academic progress. The NOUN CGPA is a representation of your overall performance throughout your academic journey.
Difference Between GPA and CGPA
Grade Point Average (GPA) measures your academic performance for a single semester. It's the average of the grades you achieved in that specific semester, weighted by the credit units of each course.
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is the overall measure of your performance across all semesters you have completed. It provides a comprehensive picture of your academic standing.
